Southern Carpet Solutions looks forward to coming to your home for your regularly scheduled carpet cleaning. If you haven’t, it is strongly recommended that you do so. If you are a first-timer, here are a few brief suggestions to make the job easy for us as it is for you. Keep reading to see.
Vacuum – It is probably something that you do on a regular basis. Go over the floors really well. While you are at it, go over the baseboard since we cannot clean them for you. Don’t vacuum like there is company coming over, but do so to give it a nice once over.
Give us a list of problem areas – Do you have pet stains and spots? We can take care of them for you. Give us a heads up when we arrive so we can be sure to cover them for you. Tape down the areas
Touch up – Your items on the furniture such as magazines and the like need to be up and out of the way. We will handle the heavy furniture for you. Be sure to get the curtains and drapes up off the floor as well – we need to be able to get under them for the absolute best in carpet cleaning. Be sure to get the kids’ toys as well.
Parking – We have to be able to get inside with our equipment, so let us have access to the garage, carport or front door. This may inconvenience you for a little while, but it is only a minor inconvenience. We will be up and out of your way in no time at all.
Point us in the right directions – We have to have water access, so show us where the spigots are outside. We will handle the rest of the connecting to the water from there. Disconnect your hoses before we get there as an extra step to save us some time.
